Textiles or Fabrics such as silk, satin, cotton - also knitted or elastic fibers.
Care:
1. Clean your shoes with mild leather shampoo or mild cleaning foam, and use a good quality brush to remove loose surface dirt. If your shoes are wet after cleaning, let them air-dry before you proceed with the next step. To remove stains use a stain remover. DO NOT store wet leather shoes/boots near a heat source, as leather may shrink.
2. Care and Conditioning is best done with products that are specifically formulated for textiles/fabrics. These products protect, condition, and revive the color of the material. A shoe/boot brush designed for Textile Leather is the best way to remove dirt and grime from shoes. A cotton shoe shine cloth will help to buff your leather shoes, and bring out a sparkling shine to the leather. If you have shoe polish in a tin, a wool dauber is a great way to apply the shoe polish to your leather shoes.
3. Water-/Weatherproofing is particularly important for the preventive maitenance of textile/fabric footwear. Before you wear textile/fabric shoes for the first time, treat them with a water and stain repellant spray that has been specifically designed for this material. Repeat this process frequently to keep up on the protective film. A water-/weatherproofing spray is the most convenient way to keep your shoes looking new.
