I grew up in a family where gambling is prohibited.  However, I got addicted to playing Texas Hold'em after my friends taught me how to play.  At first, I kept winning because I did not know the hands very well.  However, my friends could read me after I play with them a couple of time.  I started to loose a lot of money.  This is when I started to look for help.  I wanted to improve my Texas Hold'em games.  I looked around for strategy guides like dvds and books.  I also looked for Texas Hold'em items.  I found out that Ebay has so many Texas Hold'em stuffs.  I bought a hat and a shirt for a total of $20.  They were cool and cheap!  I also got a couple of dvds for cheap.  I highly recommend that you use ebay to look for Pokers items.  I have improved my Texas Hold'em games tremendously.  Last time I played with my friends, and I took all their money.  Here are my advices on improving your Texas Hold'em game:

1. Wear your favorite Texas Hold'em shirt and hat to the next game (Ebay has cheap items with great graphics)

2. Watch many DVDs (I recommended Anne Duke's DVDs, and buy them cheap on Amazon.com)

3. Practice your internet Pokers games on yahoo.com

4. Play more games with your friends first before you enter a casino (it is different in a casino!)

5. Know the odds for each hands and depend on the amount of people who play you

6. Have a limit of money that you will play, don't loose all in one day

7. Always learn from your mistake and be patience

8. Don't let people read you and don't make it obvious everytime you play

9. Have fun when you play! Don't stress out when you loose a lot of money because u'll win them back.
