Q1. What is Temp Perming?

It is used for Temp Perming "Unpermed" Items/runes etc.

Q2. How is Temp Perming done?

a) Open a trade screen with a player in a game.

b) Once trade window is up, immediately "Cancel" and leave game immediately. You have about 3 seconds to do so. Do NOT press ESC at all.

c) Make sure you are the first to leave the game.

Q3. What other ways can I "Perm" my items?

a) You can make runewords out of the runes.

b) You can socket the the rune into a gear.

Q4. Is this "Temp Perming Method" fullproof?

From my experience, it is about 95% full-proof. There will be unforseen circumstances whereby a player/trader may have the same ID rune as you have. When it clashes, it will disappear.

Q5. How do I keep my "Unpermed" items safe?

a) Put them on a "mule" and use them only when you need to trade.

b) Please do NOT ever put unpermed items on your main character and go in and out of games. This will/might cause the items to disappear.

c) Always ask the seller whether item/runes are permed. In my case, I will always indicate whether its Perm or Unperm to be fair to the customers.
