"What is the difference between all the Teeter Hang Ups Inversion Tables?"

Here's a brief guide without a bunch of sales hype to help you answer that question and aid you in your inversion table selection.

F-Series vs. EP Series
Teeter had a long successful run with the F-Series tables.  In 2008 they introduced the EP Series, which features their Flex Technology Bed.  This new bed design is more comfortable and provides for more mobility when inverting.

EP-550
The latest inversion table design from Teeter.  The EP-550 Features Flex Technology bed, spring-lock ankle clamp system, new dual-setting foot platform, UL Classified 60601-1.

EP-550 SPORT
Includes every feature on the base model EP-550 PLUS EZ-Stretch Traction Handles and Adapter Kit (Gravity Boots and CV Bar).  Many find the Gravity Boots more comfortable for inverting.  A great option for customers who want added comfort while inverting at home AND the option to invert at the gym!

EP-950
Features Flex Technology bed, comfort-grip ratchet ankle clamps, new dual-setting foot platform, plus-size frame tubing, EZ-Angle tether strap, Over-EZ handles, UL Classified 60601-1.  Similar to the F9000 in that you do not have to bend all the way to your ankles to fasten your feet.  Great if you have back pain bad enough that you can't reach you ankles.

F5000
The base model inversion table, the F5000 is the most economic option (no bells and whistles) but nonetheless meets strict quality standards for product quality and user friendliness. The earliest version of this model was made in 1983, and over the years has been upgraded over 78 times to improve durability, ease of use, and function. Like the F7000 & F9000, this model is passed UL testing to become certified.  Owner’s manual and instructional DVD included.

F7000
The F7000 was discontinued by the manufacturer in May, 2008.  If someone is selling one, it is either used or an F5000 with the extra F7000 content packaged separately.

F9000
Here's the short story:  If you have difficult reaching you ankles due to back pain, then get this table.

With its knee-high, easy-to-reach handle and ratcheting ankle clamps, the F9000 is ideal for those who have a difficult time bending down to secure their ankles. With corner feet and an EZ-Angle tether strap, the F9000 comes with many features to make the inversion process easy and comfortable. Owner’s manual, instructional DVD and 90-page book on inversion included.

DEX II
The DEX II is not a inversion table like the others where you hang upside down by your feet.  It's kind of like a roman chair but better.  Basically, you face forward and bend downward so your torso is 90 degrees bent at the hips from your legs.  It's a lot easier to look at a picture rather than describe.  The cool thing is that you are held by the back of your knees rather than your ankles.  This is great for people who may not be able to use the other tables because of weak ankles.  You can do other exercises besides inversion with a DEX II.

The "II" part of "DEX II" indicates that it is for the home user.  There is also a commercial version (the "DEX"), but it is much more expensive than the DEX II.

Power II
Inversion is taken to a whole new level with the Power II! Unlike other inversion products that require individualized adjustments, this motorized table is operated with the push of a button. Slowly and easily inverting to any desired angle using a patented rotational mechanism, the bed is sufficiently fixed at that angle to allow stretching and light exercise without bed movement. Owner’s manual and 90-page book on inversion included.

Power VI
A commercial variation on the motorized inversion table, the Power VI is built with square steel tubing and a motor to withstand use in a public facility. With the patented rotational mechanism, a user can smoothly and easily invert to any angle, the bed remaining fixed at that angle to allow stretching and light exercise without bed movement. Instruction plates to mount on the equipment and Instructional Training Manual included; wall poster available.

Miscellaneous Models:
F6000 or F8000:  Teeter only allows these for sale on television.  Be VERY wary if you see this offered online.  Because of the manufacturer's restrictions on the sale of these, I would question the validity of the warranty if purchased online.
F7000S: This model is NOT a F7000, but it is a good package if you can find it.  It comes with corner feet and an exercise ball & pump.  The F7000 has more features for a little more money, but no ball/pump.
