I have read some reviews on this subject and must give our ( and many other tattooists) idea on the subject of ten turn power supplies. Some say it gives more accurate settings than a rheostat.

However as an electronics tech and a tattooists who builds machines, clip cords and power supplies I must say a rheostat gives you a smooth turn of the whole radius of the power supply so you can turn it till your machine runs and sounds correct.

Whereupon a ten turn gives you only ten selections so how is that more accurate? Use your good sense and ask questions when buying any tattoo equipment , thanks for your time !
