ADVISORY NOTICE

According to recent information and research provided by this author and supported by reliable jewelry professionals regarding TANZANITE, there are indications of accessibility GRID - LOCK to the U.S. market.  Since the beginning of 2006, there are indications that rather than the industry setting the standards for pricing and selling of TANZANITE, i.e. labratories, gemological institutions, etc., the sole (few) companies and owners in charge of the mines are selling to the highest bidder.  Presently, gem buyers from China, Japan, the Caribbean and other countries are setting up offices in Tanzania and they are under - cutting U.S. bids by offering more money in an effort of selling TANZANITE in their respective countries; this is ONLY for the TANZANITE rough.

While with DIAMONDS, there is a DIAMOND Cartel that controls the accessibility and price, with TANZANITE it is the company(ies) setting the price to the highest bidder based on the demand.  As DIAMONDS originate from several source countries, TANZANITE is a single source country from TANZANIA.  Additionally, the quality and quanity produced from the mines do not compare to that of last years, besides from years past.  TANZANITE has sold for as much as $7,000.00 per carat.  Further, a well - known HIGH - End jewelry chain/store has began to specialize in this precious gem.

As recent as October 2006, informaton and research further indicated that ONLY .4% of gem quality TANZANITE was being produced.  Additionally, TANZANITE production has dropped between 72% to 74% this year.  To emphasize the power of TANZANITE, research of open source information alleged that terrorist organizations utilized TANZANITE in an effort to fund their illegal activities; though this was not substanciated.  This was serious enough that major cable shopping networks ceased from selling TANZANITE for a period of time.
