Recently I received my first negative feedback it was from a fellow Ebay seller. I actually purchased a camera from her to replace my malfunctioning Olympus, which said I have had enough! It sure took a lot of photos before the switch button on the front gave out. I found as nice new Olympus camera package to buy on Ebay to replace it and had promised my bead and marble collectors that I would get something that would take good photos.
That was just the beginning. This seller had rather firm rules about when the payment should be made. I was galavanting around the country with my Santa gig and didn't get a chance to pick up a money order until rather late after Christmas. I was still well within her deadlines. Well Nitro ( the name she later gave herself)said you do not have a good record and the USPS has no record of your Priority Envelope in the mail.

 I have always used the little green .45 cent tracking number with the U.S. Postal Service Delivery Confirmation Receipt because it is usually well worth the .45 cents. It was one of the best deals going actually to prevent fraud! I have even had people send me cash in the regular First Class mail using this. It is usually worth far more than Postal Insurance which  takes forever to collect and would make anyone waiting for a settlement GO POSTAL!!!

THERE IS SOMETHING STRANGE ABOUT THE USPS!!I say this because I just learned today that an order has come down from the top that the mailmen are no longer required to scan the shipping number in upon pickup. That was the best thing the U.S. Post Office had going for security and positive customer relations. They get something really good and innovative and they destroy the effectiveness of the system. It is about like being back in the Military. They would make a great innovation and then take it away. It is no wonder the U.S.Post Office is always losing money and the Private Carriers are winning the shipping wars!! Write the Postmaster General if you ship USPS because you have just lost a real asset to your business when the Mail Carriers quit entering these shipping delivery numbers upon package pick up.It is no longer worth the .45 cents.

Back to the Nitro Seller:

However for some reason this green tag delivery number on my money order was not registered that is the first time I ever had that happen.. I think the guy at the United Parcel Service office in California did not register the USPS number or scan it when he shipped out my money order package. Well  Nitro was on a roll, I hope this doesn't rile her all over again.  I think too many sellers and buyers give negative feedback too soon in a world that is not perfect!! In a world where real S... Happens.

It is obvious that some sellers have major control issues by the all the do nots they place in their listings.They might just as well say do not buy this because if you do I am going to be a pain in your neck!LOLOLThey remind me of  two of my X wives. Obessive Compulsive women and I would'nt buy from a seller like them them if it is obvious. I havn't got time for anymore of that behavior or all the control issues around it!

I am pretty laid back most of the time but I remember a time I was already to give a Gent in Texas my negative feedback because he dropped out of sight after making his final bid. Did he ever drop out of sight,I noticed he made several purchases before dropping out of site and the negative feedback was piling up in his feedback bin like manure behind a spring spreader! Sellers were going after that guys juggler vein!! I said wait a minute.......in my gut I felt something was wrong! I finally fished around and found his phone number. No easy doing in the old Ebay days when they were attempting to control every transaction and communication.I must have gone thru 150 option menus!! I don't know how many hours on the phone?But I finally got and called the Texans Cell number.

 He was in the hospital. his father-in-law tried to kill him and ran over him with a truck.. He was in the hospital hooked up to IV's and in traction not knowing if he would ever walk again.He explained what had happened.
At the local Ebay University session I attended they said this sort of thing happens often.

Well fortunately my money order delay was caused by my own holiday travel,plus holiday mail,plus the extra day President Bush gave the Postal authorities off for Gerald Ford's Funeral.(God Only knows why?) Gerald Ford or his familly would never request this.

Well Nitro and me Glycerine(that was her name for us) went toe to toe,she gave me negative feedback, I returned the favor, she turned me into Square Deal, I turned her into Square Deal it was war!!! Square Deal was already counting the money they were going to make negotiating Divorce between two enraged Ebay Sellers!Two people with 100% Feedback for at least three or four years of positive deals.I was just about ready to turn her in to the IRS after she made comments about me being old and perhaps forgetfull on the phone and I  had a few more mean tricks up my sleeve to get even but decided to (Bill Gates) her and beg her for forgiveness instead and asked her one final time to take that fine camera off her new listing and ship it to me because I knew it was just a matter of time before my money order arrived! After my plea, she had second thoughtsearly that same morning and took it off very early, the money order I sent arrived later that morning. It was a done deal.WHEW! I had already bought another Olympus Camera on EBay of the same model.

Now  I had two Cameras to pay for,still can't use either one because they are quite different and more complex than my old one. We both had to go back and clean up our mess!What a fight!We had to email Ebay,we had to change the feedback,we had to email Square Deal,we had to email each other! ...........my point:... it is wise to take your time about giving feedback ........especially take your time about giving negative feedback.Unusual things happen in a real world. I have several people who have had serious S...Happen!!!After they purchased an item from me.
