Beware of sellers offering Takamine guitars that have "used" or "second" stamped on the back of the headstock or on the labels. Since Takamine manufactures thousands of guitars each year there is a small percentage that don't make the cut either because of finish flaws or returns that have been serviced. Stores and sellers often get these guitars at huge discounts. Individuals buying Takamine guitars stamped "used" or "second" are those who don't care for minor imperfections in most cases. It leaves a sore spot when someone picks up your guitar and sees it stamped "used" or "second" like some sort of cattle. Just something to consider when buying a Takamine guitar.
Nothing against Takamine, I own a Nashville ENV460SC with no manufacture defects.
Please note that all high end Takamine guitars are made in Japan and come in many models. Hirade are high end Takamine classical guitars. All mid-level Takamines have either EG or G to designate them as being from the G series. Low end Takamines are called Jasmine series.
