Tablecloth Size Guide *
* This guide is for reference only.
A good general rule of thumb when measuring for a tablecloth is that the tablecloth should have a drop of 6-8 inches on all sides. (6 inches for a casual setting, longer for a formal table setting)
Measure the length and width of your table and add 12 inches to the length and 12 inches to the width. This will give you a starting size for your tablecloth. I have listed some of the more common sizes below and the table size they fit. In general it's better to go larger than smaller than the number in your calculations.
Oblong denotes a rectangular table. The terms are interchangeable.
Diameter is the measurement from edge to edge across the center of a table
