I suggest that any family who likes to watch tv, but doesnt due to the language, that you really invest into a TV Guardian. Now you can buy the TV Guardian itself and you can buy dvd players the filter the bad words. Now the dvd player TVG only filters words on the dvd player, not on your tv. But buying the TVG will filter language on your tv and dvd players. As long as the show is Closed Captioned as well as the dvds. Now TVG won't filter live shows, because they aren't CC. During a show when a cuss word appears, TVG mutes it and shows the sentence that it muted, and takes the cuss word out. If a movie would save Get your A#$ out of here, TVG would show Get your tail out of here. This is really a useful unit and worth the investment.
