As you know September 2006 Fisher Price released THE toy of the year for the 2006 Christmas season. The TMX or Tickle Me Extreme Elmo was for the 10th Anniversary of Elmo and was only in production for a few months. If you are a collector or just an avid Elmo fan please take note that several sellers on eBay right now are marketing the 2007 Elmo dolls as last years 10th Anniversary dolls. There are very specific differences in the boxes, if you want a 2007 doll then the box will have a hole in it that says "TRY ME" the official 10th Anniversary boxes say right on the front "10th Anniversary Tickle Me Elmo" this is on the front in a black circle. If you are looking for an Elmo this season be sure to ask your seller very specifically, Am I buying a 2007 version or is this a true 10th Anniversary edition".
