First, let me start by saying yes I am an elmo TMX seller. I have read and heard first hand tons of negative comments about how terrible we are for trying to make a profit from selling a child's toy. Well I see it like this, I have spent numerous hours on the internet and phone researching when and where Elmo will pop up next. When and if I get any leads I get up and start running around trying to get some. It's not easy , my husband and I were in line at Walmart at 9:00pm Sept.30 waiting for the midnight release, got 2 and we were straight on to the next store. We made it home around 1:30 , no time to sleep because if we want to get any at 7:00am we need to be back at another store by 4:00am. All the time and effort paid off - we had our Elmos. The latest release at ToysRus was another bugger, we got there at 3:30am Oct.29 to wait for the store to open at 10:00am. Some of the people in front of us had been there since 3:00pm the day before, we got ours and went home tired and happy. As you can see the only thing we had on our side was determination - no inside info. or super guide to get Elmo.
So for all the seller-haters I say, the only reason I have to buy an Elmo is to sell it to someone who doesn't want the hassle of what it takes to buy one retail. If I had that special child or grandchild, niece or nephew to try to get one for I can tell you I would not be beat to the store by an Ebay seller.
Get up early , make some coffee and go sit in line.
