About 25 years ago I was visiting friens in Huntington Beach, California when I saw their 16 year old son wearing a pair of calf high boots with lambs wool peeking out from th etop and welts. The strange part about this observation is that it was 86 degrees out and wall to wall sun!!

I had always associated shearling boots with cold weather and snow. I asked the teen what the deal was with wearing boots in the middle of summer and to top it off, having blue jean cut-offs on with them!!

He just smiled and said, "Dude, these are Uggs from Australia and they keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter." I was taken aback naturally but after listening to the full story about how he and his friends have taken to these unique looking boots I thought I would investigate for myself. Here was a pair of  boots that acted like a thermos bottle for your feet, keeping things cool and warm as required!!

When I got back to Pennsylvania I forgot about Uggs until the snow started to accumulate and the old tootsies started to freeze up. Now we have the world's largest shoe store, Reyers, just 20 miles from where I live. Surely they would have these miracle boots called Uggs. WRONG!! No Uggs. What a let down. At that time I had no computer, no internet and no chance of finding where to buy the coveted Uggs.

I contacted my California friends and asked sif they could help. The rest is history. I got my first pair of Uggs before Christmas and have been replacing them as need ever since.

Years passed and my daughters and wife had no interest in Uggs - face it -they look like their name suggests. It wasn't until it became shiek to wear Uggs that they saw the light. Now bedides me, my wife, both daughters and five grandkids all have Uggs. My wife and daughter have multiple colors! Now they're not only the greatest footwear you'll ever put your feet into but they're also a fashion statement!

Last year we took a three week trip to tour Italy by auto and the only footwear we took were our Uggs. One pair,Tan for everyday wear and a black pair for evening was my choice. The wife took four pairs - Ruby Red, Pink, Green and Black. Our trip was in November and we toured from one end of Italy to the other and even to Scicily. The faithful Uggs provided unparralled comfort every step of the way. They are easy to pack, easy to care for and hard to wear out. Best of all you never have to shine them and they always look great.

If you haven't tried a pair of Uggs yet get with the times!! You'll never give your Uggs up once you have them. I don't sell Uggs and I don't have any financial interest in Uggs - I just flat out love them and want to share their great benifits with everyone I can.
