Choosing and buying gifts has always been very important to me and I am very good at it.  The people I buy for are ALWAYS thrilled and show it whether the gift is for a mother, father, wife, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend, friend.  And I have a very fussy particular family, extended family and clientele.

So...  How can YOU be great at giving great gifts?

THINK ABOUT THE PERSON WHO IS GETTING THE GIFT:

I ask myself these 10 questions keeping the lucky person in mind & always come up with a winner. 

1. What does this person care about the most...biggest passion?     Hobby, a collection, a vocation, a favorite charity, their work, their family, cause that is close to their heart...
2. How do they spend their free time?     Home, office, with children, working out, at gym, getting a message or facial or nails done, shopping, movies, TV, children, friends, family, decorating, sewing, primping, cooking, giving parties, shows, read, museums....
3. Are they an introvert or extrovert?  Conservative or adventuresome?  Are they an indoor or outdoor person?    Dress preppie or funky, stay at 3 star hotels or camp, love a garden or a sitting room, meet people easily, like large-small-no parties, prefer to read and be quiet...
4. Which part of their home is their favorite?     Living room, kitchen, computer room, den, bedroom, bathroom, basement, playroom...
5. What do other people say about them?  Observe about them? 
6. What memorable traits...things do you remember about them...stands out about them...special moments, events...are easily recalled about them?     Funny, romantic, serious, kind, generous, giving, talk about one thing more than any other, love to dress up, love to dress down, can't wait to do..., hate to do...
7. What do they do for fun?     Golf, tennis, bubble baths, shop, go to spa, fishing, hiking, zoos, galleries, paint, sculpt, needlepoint, swimming, skiing, yoga, knit, bowl, decorate house, cook, take pictures...
8. How do they dress?     Very in and now, very vintage, lots of accessories, no jewelry, lots of jewelry, colorful, monotone, stylish, comfortable, get dressed fast, takes forever to choose, makeup, hair, always warm or cold...
