I have been a buyer since 2006. Recently I opened Golden Thread Vintage selling vintage items that are hand picked from all over. I have purchased a large amount of designer items on ebay to find out later that more than half of them were fakes! The jeans that I purchased were True Religion, Seven, Citizen, Dolce and Gabbana, also watch some vintage items that are fakes. I purchased a dress that was supposed to be from the 60's and when I recieved it I could clearly see that it was not authentic because of the buttons and flowers were not from the era. I emailed the seller and they refused to give me a refund, so I left neutral feedback. Later to find that they left me negative feedback bashing me online because they were caught. I did not know when I first purchased the jeans that they were fakes, until I wore them for about a month and they began to fall apart. I did email the sellers that were still on ebay about the problem. They told me I was to hard on the jeans that the buttons and rivits should not of fallen off. I knew it was too late for me to file a claim so I had to let it go. Ebay should give more time for a dispute because we don't know what we are buying even though listing state "Authentic." I don't know how someone that is a seller can feel good about selling fake items to others. I thought as a seller we were supposed to be a community! It seems as if most are only out to make money on FAKE items not caring about the rest of us. Buyers beware of the switched names and the hidden messages in the listing, some items are not what they seem.
