I tried to make this a review but for some reason I cant seem to make it work. I recently bought this camera to do some basic underwater photography. Overall quality for the camera is about a 6 out of 10. Its a basic 35mm camera. There is nothing special or new about its design or function. Performance of the camera is a good solid 8 out of 10 though. The film feed is smooth and the auto flash is reliable. The red eye prevention is minimal but I guess it might work.  Its a point and shoot  so there are no  zoom  functions but underwater that tends to make it difficult  to maintain  buoancy or  a  stable location anyway. As a stand alone camera it would do for any basic situations that a point and shoot would work for. At this point the camera seems a bit pricey for a basic PAS. But I havent gotten to the case yet. Overall design  is solid . Its heavy,  thick, and solid. It seems to be shaped weird, that I dont like. The hinge is solid. the o-ring seems like it makes a solid seal. The latch is metal and seems solid. The camera lense port is made of tempered glass, as well as the flash window, and the film count window. There is room inside the case to place some silicone packets to absorb any moisture that makes it into the case. Or if  you used some heavy washers to place some weight in it to make it neg. buoyant. The door looks like it has a little movement to it, almost like it is springing open. The 0-ring stays in the seal area, and with the addition of pressure underwater im sure that will seal shut. The camera is braced by heavy foam blocks to help maintain shock absorbtion and to insure that the case controls are securely in contact with the camera controls. All controls are easy to use and reach. they are spaced out so that you cannot hit the wrong one. All of the controls seem to operate without fail. No slipping or real difficulty in operating them. Overall, I would say that this is a good beginer entry level camera. For the average snorkeler or casual diver this may be a great camera. If you want high res, magazine quality pics your going to need to spend a little money. This camera sells for around 20-60 us dollars. That is the most that should be paid. There is a threaded metal disc in the bottom of the camera case for adding on an external light/flash. the flash would require a stick on sensor that attaches to the case near the flash. There is no place to plug in a exteranl flash on the camera itself. with the addition of a light/flash this would probably take some fairly decent photos underwater. by itself its a great entry level underwater camera. Its a good buy for under 50 us dollars. Dont expect this camera  to function like a  high dollar expensive camera and you wont be dissapointed.  However, I think the average user will be impressed and more than satisfied with its performance.
