Supra S5 Pushbutton wallmount model, By GE is the oldest and most recognized brand name of lockbox and they have hundreds of models.  This Guide is for the S5 Pushbutton Wallmount Model. The ratings guide below is based off of my experience as a homeowner, Real Estate Investor, and the experience of those that I personally know that have used the Supra Lockboxes

Each of these Categories are rated on a scale of 1 to 10

“1” being poorest “10” being the best.

Quality “7”
PROS: The Supra lockbox itself has an all-metal construction with a removable front door that is very well engineered. The S5 Pushbutton mounts with several screws onto most flat surfaces.

CONS: The removable front door can be hard to remove in cold weather and long fingernails sometimes have problems opening the latch if not closed properly.

Ease of Use: “9”
PROS: The combo entering process is extremely easy and can be done easily by anyone.

CONS: The more numbers in your combination the less secure your box is example If your combination on the punch button is 1-2-3-4,  the combination is NOT sequential.  This means that you can open up the lock box on 4-3-2-1, 2-3-4-1, etc. ...ANY combination of those 4 numbers out of 10 can open up the punch button lock box.  Make 5 or 6 numbers and this translates into a lock box that is not very secure.

Changing the Combination With Ease: “10”
PROS: Changing the combo on the S5  is the EASIEST of any lockbox on the market. Simply select the numbers on the back of the removable plate, that you want your combination to be and that’s it.

Make 5 or 6 numbers and this translates into a lock box that is not very secure at all.

Security: “6”
PROS: The S5 Combination resets every time it is open so you will always know that once the lockbox is close it is secure.

CONS: The front door on the S5 completely removes to give you access to the keys. If this door ever gets lost. The box becomes useless.

Price:  “3”
PROS: The Supra S5 is the most recognized and oldest brand on the market.

CONS: The Supra S5 is the most expensive lockbox on the market.

Features: These are important to note features to know when making your buying decision:

1.    Mounts to most any wall in seconds:  All S5s ship with mounting hardware and it will only take a few seconds.

2.    Easy to install: There is no easier lockbox to install than the SUPRA S5 simply find a place to anchor the box and screw it into the wall.

3.    Appearance: The SUPRA S5 pushbutton is the most recognized and popular lockbox used by realtors and investors nationwide. The look is professional and well recognized.
