Cleaning & Care of Sunbrella Marine & Awning Grade Fabrics

You should clean your Sunbrella covers on a regular basis.  If its a cover on your boat or home these cleaning instructions do not differ. Remove large pieces of debris as well as bird dropping, dirt, sand, salt, etc....  If you allow your Sunbrella covers to become soiled it will eventually embed into the the fibers of your Sunbrella fabric.  Preventative maintenance is key in keeping your Sunbrella fabric looking beautiful and vibrant.  Preventative maintenance will also prolong the life of your Sunbrella covers significantly.

We use a product called - 303 fabric guard to protect Sunbrella Marine/Awning fabrics.  We use it and sell it in both our Manufacturing business G.G. Sails & canvas and fabric store Outdoor Textiles Inc.

Sunbrella fabric can be cleaned without removing from frame or other installations.  First brush off any loose particles, wash off with clean water and a solution of mild soap.  Iosso fabric cleaner is highly recommend for this process.  Rinse throughly and air dry.  Do not use detergents!  Most important do not wash in washing machine and do dry in dryer.
