This is the time of year that sunglasses sell. The glare is so intense from the sun, the beach is so alluring, the culture of summer says sunglasses. It is also the time that retailers look at their inventory and say do I have enough? And can I sell what I have before winter comes back? I say, order consistanly on a weekly basis and then those questions do not come into play.
As a wholesaler, I am looking at my inventory and saying, “Hey, I dont want to hold these sunglasses, and energy pills all winter.” I am looking to make a deal! So I have a sale. I know that I have to get rid of excess inventory and I am willing to sacrifice on profit, knowing that the costs of storage for the next year.
