I have been looking everywhere before while I was pregnant for my third son for a guaranteed stretch mark massage lotion that would supposedly works. I haven't had stretch marks with my first and second sons. But when I had my third I figured out he is much bigger than the others. I started seeing small evidence of stretch marks and I panic. So I search and search and search....
Finally, I got to balance all the pros and cons of each item I was looking at. The Winner: Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks.
It is said that it has Vitamin E, Collagen and Elastin plus shea butter with it. I was happy that I finally found the best of them (that's what they claimed for).
Couple of months after.....
I was then 6 months pregnant and I was still using the lotion. Massage it to places I saw all the stretch marks that I've got. It's all over my tummy...guess what!! I think the lotion didn't work! I am still giving it a chance. Maybe the effect of the lotion will take place in the next day or so...Wait and wait I go....
What happened? I did all the things they instructed at the back. Massage it on the places where you want the lotion would be. Do it as frequently as you like....Still my stretch marks are there and the most horrible thing of all....it's crawling further and further all over my whole tummy....
Wheww...this baby must be so BIG that the lotion cannot stop/prevent the stretch marks from coming in.
End of pregnancy....
Baby was 10 pounds and 4.9 ounces....oh that's why my belly seems so BIG and stretch all over the place....and the lotion DIDN'T work.
Now, I was thinking, I should not blame the lotion. Maybe it just can't prevent everything. Maybe it will work for others but not for me. Oh well, I don't really care now, I got my beautiful baby and that's what matters most...not my stretch marks NO MORE!
