How many times have you recieved a question from your auction asking a something that was blatently obvious in your ebay listing?
Well for me it has happened quite a few times but the problem is not the question but the way that some ebay sellers respond to these questions. Welcome to ebay, there are some idiots out there, but they don't need to know they are idiots. To you they are just another un-informed potential buyer. If you treat every question like this, you will find that you will make more sales by responding a professional business mannor.
It is the first the first response of the recipient of a stupid or thoughtless question to tell the person excaclty what you think, but this will LOOSE YOU MONEY.
Remember the name of the game on ebay for me at least is "MONEY" and in this case you will want to Kill'em With Kindness every time and you will see your sales go up accordingly, I promise.
Remember I did'nt say that you can't say all those nasty things you are thinking outloud to get them off of your chest but you cannot reply to the message with them...It is important to relieve the frustration but there is no reason your customer base has to know that.
Also, just a quick reminder to all new ebayers out there, yes the eye in the sky watches these messages just as it does you ebay listings so be curious, and kind...Dont Say Anything In a Message You Would'nt Feel Comfortable Putting In Your Listings.
Hope you enjoyed my guide,
Nick
