The Classic System That Pleases

Take a break from the moden expensive systems to enjoy a classic system that is exciting, groundbreaking fun and enjoyment for yourself, friends and family members. The Super Nintendo was released in the United States in 1991 and has sold millions of units worldwide. Commonly known as the 'Super Famicom' over in Japan, the Super Nintendo was an instant success with its ground breaking 32 bit graphics and smash hit gaming titles. Along with the system came Super Mario World, two controllers, power cord, RF unit, audio/video cable.

10 Games For A Starter:

Of course when getting started, you need to have some of the games to start out your SNES collection. These are the games that I had when I first purchased my system. The games featured below run between $10-20 each and will hardly break the bank. Timeless games that will be enjoyable for years to come.

1. Super Mario World (1991)-  A 2 Player action/adventure game with Mario & Luigi traveling to many unique worlds, battling 7 Koopa bosses, secret Star World and a Special World.

2. Super Mario Kart (1992)- Fun for everyone. Enter yourself in the 50cc, 100cc and even go for the gold in the 150cc. The game features 4 different series of cups such as the: Mushroom, Flower, Star and Special. Or duke it out with the other player in Battle Mode. Use all kinds of crazy items to pop your friends ballons.

3. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (1992)- The third installment in the Zelda series and highly praised from critics around. Find magical items, pendants, crystals, and travel between worlds from the light to the dark. Over ten different bosses and over 5+ hours of solid gameplay.

4. Donkey Kong Country (1994)- Play as Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong in this 3D scroller classic. Smash and Bash creatures, ride different animals, collect bananas for 1-UP's, Kremcoins, ride mining carts and visit over 7 different worlds full of exciting characters and crazy bosses.

5. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (1995)- The sequel to Super Mario World. This time, Yoshi is in control and you are a helpless baby as he carries you to save your younger brother, Luigi. Take in the colorful backround graphics and oddball antics. Collect the 5 smiling flowers, 20 red coins and keep your stars/health at 30 to get a score of 100. Enjoy the ride!

6. Sim City (1991)- Be creative as you are the new Mayor of your own city. Construct roads, build homes, commerical zones, industrial zones and watch them grow. Create schools, hospitals, employment and so much more as you see your city flurish. Play on easy, medium or hard.

7. Street Fighter II (1992)-  Play up to 10+ different characters and learn their amazing fighting abilities in this Capcom/Arcade classic. 2 Players.

8. Final Fantasy II (1991)- Released in Japan as Final Fantasy IV, this is the first RPG for the Super Nintendo (USA). Travel the vast world, meet interesting characters, build your party, fly airships, defeat monsters to level up and even fly to the moon. A great role playing game for every age.

9. Star Fox (1991) Play as Star Fox and travel to different areas in space and explore strange surroundings with your airship, defeat moderate but fun bosses.

10. Yoshi's Cookie (1993) Take a bite of this classic puzzle game. Line up cookies to match and collect points and move on to different levels. Become a skilled Yoshi's Cookie player as each level progresses.
