Trading and gaming cards come in all kinds of conditions. These conditions vary by wear. Be sure you know what you are paying for or selling.
Following is examples of cards in all conditions.
Mint Condition - Straight from the pack. No marks or blemishes of any kind. This includes no misprints. Has not been played. Best quality available. Collectors item.
Near Mint Condition - Straight from the pack. No Blemishes or creases. May have small misprints. Has not been played. Extremely high quality. Suitable for collecting.
Excellent Condition - Has some slight wear. Minor buffing on back or slight wear one one corner. Has been played once or twice. High quality but may not be sutible for collecting.
Very Good Condition - Has visible wear. Slight buffing on back, or one crease on one corner, or slight wear on more than one corner. Has been moderately played. Good quality. Excellent for playing. Not a collectors item but a good tournament playing card.
Good Condition - Buffing on back, one creased corner and worn edges. Has been highly played. Low quality. Sutible for playing. Not a card to use in tournament play.
Poor Condition - Bent, worn edges, creases, heavy buffing on back. Lowest quality. Bearly readable. Has been on the table too many times to count. Not sutible for tournament play. Time to be replaced.
The condition of the cards you buy and sell is the most important thing about them. If you are uninformed you could be paying high quality prices for low quality merchandise. Be sure you know the difference. All of our cards at Jimdad's are mint/near mint condition unless specified otherwise.
