Throughout the course of being an ebay member, both as a seller and buyer, i have found that when it comes to Classic US Stamps, ask as many questions ahead of time prior to bidding. The most important question is, is this stamp reperforated??  Lately i have not asked & it was allmost impossible to tell by the picture(s). Bottom line is, when in doubt, ask questions. Tho it's just a recent occurence, 3 rather pricey items i was the winning bidder on came back from an expertiser. 2 were reperfed, with one of those expertly refilled in a thin area. The other item was not as listed, but rather a totally different issue. I may not be telling anyone anything new, but it's good to keep in mind. I appreciate the time that ebay has given me to make this a better place for sellers as well as buyers of collectable stamps.
