For years and years and years, I did a lot of craft and art shows with my stained glass. Because of all of those good and bad experiences, I have a lot of advice I can offer to help you earn more money when you find yourself doing one...
One can never tell how good you will do at an art or craft show. You might do wonderful one day and the next, be lucky if you sold one item. It can often be discouraging and frustrating. There ARE small, little details you can take care of though, that will add more money into your pocket...
By now, from reading my other guides, you have your pad of paper and pen for the mailing list. Next, add your photograph album to your table to show people your past works of art. If you don't have an album, then start working on making one! Train yourself to take a picture of every piece you make. (That's something I didn't do years ago and now that opportunity is lost...) Establish who you are and what you're capable of!
Finally, I can't stress enough how important it is to have business cards to pass out. You might not do well at a show, but over and over again thru the years I have received calls AFTER the shows and gotten some great orders...
Stand tall, be proud and believe in yourself!
