Spotting Fake Soccer Jerseys

I read one of the articles on eBay about spotting fake soccer jerseys and I thought that I would add my incite. Some things to look for in the ad...

1) Look for the Adidas, Nike, or Umbro logo. If it has one of these most likely it is authentic.

2) Look for other markers that counterfeits are not likely to have (climacool emblems, tags printed directly on the inside of the jersey).

3) Ask if the logos are embroidered on the jersey or if they are screen printed on. Most authentic jerseys have the Adidas or Nike emblem embroidered on the jersey. There are some jerseys out there that look authentic in the pictures due to minor details, but when closely examined they are fakes.

I hope this helps in your search for an authentic soccer jersey.
