We purchase only from reputable wholesalers and all of our merchandisse is guaranteed to be Authentic. We stand by this Guarantee. Through our years of experience with Coach, Prada and Gucci we have developed a "nose" for the knock-offs. Hopefully the following information will be of use. Also please understand that nothing is fool-proof, the theives get better and better everyday, attention to detail and instinct is the number one deterant of fake goods.

.The most obvious is the C pattern being slighly "off" or odd. Or something just not right about the printed signature pattern. I have even seem really bad fakes where the CC actually looked like GG. (No this does not mean it is a Gucci instead!).

.The material is getting harder to spot because a lot of fakers are using the actual material used by Coach so you will need to inspect the stitching and hardware. All of the hardware should be embossed or logoed.

.The zippers should carry the YKK on them. This is the highest quality zipper. A minor detail the knock-offs will most likely miss.

.The stitching should be even, trim and neat. Missed stitches, uneven stitching or loose stitching are all signs of fakes. The strict quality control Coach insists on would never manufacture such types of merchandise.

.Serial numbers are stamped on square patches of leather and usually have a series of letters and numbers in them. The SN will also appear in more than one place usually on the outside and inside.

.The bag looks similar to the ones in major department stores but are not quite right. OR  The dimensions are off slightly. Perhaps 10-5/8" instead of 10-3/4. These are most likely knock-offs.

.If you notice the photo presented is not of the actual merchandise, and a photo taken from the Coach website is being used instead be wary. Investigate the seller, ask questions, ask if they can send you a photo of the actual merchandise even if you have to wait for it. Not all sellers are professional with high-end digital cameras, and it may be that they are selling a used Coach handbag they had in their closet but do not have the means to present a good clear photo. However if they calim to be selling brand new merchandise and have several different pieces in stock, they should have the means to have a good digital camera or they shouldn't be selling this type of merchandise.

.Made in China does not mean the bag is not authentic. A lot of coach bags are being manufactured overseas. What is important to know is that the same strict quality controls and guidelines are adhered to in China as in the US.

.Purchase at least one Coach bag in a department store, and use this peice as your guide and "bible".  Comparing its quality to the others you see on ebay.

Good Luck and Happy Coaching!
