Yes, it's out there: fake Abercrombie. You would think a brand so common and well known wouldn't have people trying to replicate it for cheaper, but it does exist. I have worked at Abercrombie and Fitch for some time now, and I have been wearing their clothes for over 3-4 years, and after searching through the "lots" here on Ebay, I have found that at least 50% of the listings on here are for fake/replica Abercrombie, and you would be better off buying the real thing in a store near you.

The first and most obvious way to spot fake A&F is this:

I have seen SO many listings for lots on here for very cheap, but black t-shirts and tops. A&F is most widely known for not selling anything in black, so if you see anything listed as black, you cann rest assure that it IS fake. Example:

Secondly, you should never buy an item that you haven't seen in person or in a store. Thee is no shame in walking into an A&F to ask/look at an item that you recently bought online.

Third, if you are concerned about buying fake A&F, you should just buy it in a store. If you're looking for a cheap hoodie that will last you a while, you can always ask a Sales Associate on the floor to check in the back for you, and you can usually end up with something $12.90-19.80, that is very cute and that will last you a long time.

Abercrombie is expensive in stores because it is made with thebest fabrics and materials that they can get. You truely get  your money's worth when you buy real, authentic Abercrombie, becasue it will never show wear and tear like normal clothes.
