Sports teams - both professional and NCAA - spend millions of dollars each year to create a winning team and strong fan base. Why not benifit from their marketing! One of the most developed areas of sports merchandizing is sports apparel or jerseys and clothing. This ranges from actual game worn jerseys on the high end ($200 and up) to official look alike jerseys ($5 - $1000) depending on age, condition, brand name, and good old supply and demand. Some of the better known names are: Starter, Nutmeg, Russell, Champion, Wilson, etc.... - just to name a few.
This is a very fun hobby for any sports fan and great merchandise can be located ot second hand stores, yard sales, and from the teams or universites themselves. Being a Northwest fan I have a nice collection of Gonzaga, Mariners, Seahawks, Sonics, and now Spokane Shock merchandise. Choose your favotie team or sport and collect for the fun of it!
