A great way to deliver your sporting game or event tickets you want to sell on eBay!
I am new to this method of ticket selling but as a season ticket holder for the NFL Philadelphia Eagles I had the chance to try out a new online service made available to the season ticket holders. It was called Ticket Forwarding - ticketFast®. I loved it and it worked great!
This new service was easy to use and allowed me to quickly send my sold tickets to the buyer via email. As soon as the request for transfer was completed by me on my NFL team's web page and the email tickets were sent to my buyer my original ticket code was voided and transferred over to the email ticket. It works like an airline "e" ticket. My buyer had no problem using the ticket and enjoyed the game!
Now, I don't know how many other sporting teams offer this service but a quick google search showed many NFL and NBA teams offering this type of service to their Season Ticket Holders some may use different names for the service. Check with your team by looking under your account information on your teams web site.
How this works is the owner of the ticket enters the recipient's (buyer, friend, business assoc ect) information into the form on the teams web site. You can then "forward" the game/event ticket as well as any parking passes or other passes that are attached to the event or you can just do the game/event ticket you get the choice when filling out the transfer. The recipient then receives the email notification from ticketFast and with Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 (free) can print out the ticket from any standard printer. Safe, Secure and QUICK!
The fee for this service may vary but in most cases it is only a few dollars per ticket which is a lot cheaper than shipping overnight with signature confirmation ect.
If you are planning on selling any sporting event tickets or buying - see if this service is available to you and give it a try! This service appears to be only available to Season Ticket Holders with Barcode Tickets and has to be forward to the recipient at least 2 hours or more before the start of the event.
Check the rules and regulations when you locate the service on the team's web site. Some games may not allow this service to be used due to restrictions.
