I was recently the target of a spoof eBay Motors seller named Shannon Garcia. She(He?) was supposedly selling a Dodge Stealth Turbo car which was originally posted on eBay as an Approved Bidder Only auction, with a price of $2800 hidden in the fine print. They even sent me a spoofed eBay Motors Buyer Protection Plan notification, a Vehicle Protection Plan Overview email,  and an actual invoice that appeared to come from eBay Motors in my email. All of the emails looked 100% genuine but nothing actually came thru eBay !!! And the auction disappeared as soon as I emailed with my interest. Watch out for this trick !!
