What are the real Spiderman lenticulars? Is it the serial numbered
ones or the ones missing the serial numbers fake?
The truth is both lenticulars are real. These posters where made by Dynamic Images

When the posters first came out to the theaters they started to show up on ebay
a year before the movie came out.

These posters that people had been selling had been coming up missing in NY.
They could sell these posters for upwards of 2000.00
What Sony pictures did is they asked Dynamic Images to start putting serial numbers on all of
the posters. So they could track who had what posters and how many.

So now new buyer think there was a mass bootleg market on these
posters that are missing the serial number this is not true.

There is no bootleg of the web style of this poster

There is one bootleg Spiderman Lenticular see pics on the bottom

Most full size bootleg posters come from
Asia you can tell by the misspelling on these posters.

They do it for
all kinds of lenticular titles. Spiderman, Star Wars,
The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Some fake lenticulars never had a Lenticular Version Star Wars is a perfect example.

 .
Most people selling make guesses on how many of the posters
have been printed. What they do is go by the serial Number. If the serial says for example 0324
They will say only 500 printed. Then the next seller gets a poster with the serial number 0745
that seller puts in his auction that they made only 1000 posters.

Neither seller knows the amount in the print run they take the best guess.
So never trust any quanity that a seller says. This does not mean they are trying to
fraud buyers they are trying the best they can to inform the buyer.

This is the bootleg 27x40 from asia Don't buy it thinking it is real or rare.

This is the original 27x40 Lenticular

This is the fake Nightmare Before Christmas Lenticular

Note the credits and the incorrct grammer.

This is the Original advance Lenticular

This is the Fake Lenticular Star Wars happy Birthday poster

This is the Orginal Star Wars happy birthday. It's a paper poster

They really did not make Lenticulars before 1990

Also if the copyright holder wanted to print a lenticular for an older poster

They would not have it printed in Asia.

So do some research into that lenticular look where the seller is.

Look at the feedback and search for pics from respected dealers.

Compare it to the Lenticular that you are unsure about.
