Hello Everyone.  I have never written a "guide" before.  But I am so pleased with our eBay purchase that I wanted to share it with the world~! I was in the market for a new baby monitor for our second child.  Our children are 5 years apart in age, so it's been awhile since we've used one.  I looked all over the internet and read thousands of reviews.  I was so mixed up by the time I had finished my research.  I finally took the plunge and bid and won a Sony Baby Call on eBay.  I wasn't really sure if it would work for us, but I took a chance.

This is the best monitor!  I think I paid around $20 for it and it has a base unit with one receiver and it can be plugged in or used with batteries.  That function alone is worth $20!  It saves us a ton in batteries. 

We live in the country and only have a few close-by neighbors.  We do have high speed internet and had read in a guide somewhere that this monitor might not work with our high speed internet.....But all works well.  I even have to turn down the volume to 2 at night or I can't sleep because I hear EVERYTHING...

We are very well pleased with our purchase and I hope this will help out another mom or dad who is trying to buy the best baby monitor.  I actually bought another brand of baby monitor on eBay and figured we can use that one when we go camping.  But I like the Baby Call so well that I may just sell the other one.

I was even considering some pricier models on Amazon.com.  I am so glad I didn't buy a different monitor.
