Anyone that knows me, knows that I will only stock and carry items in my store that I personally use myself. If I don't like it, I'm not going to pawn it off on you! I currently only stock and carry Canfields and Glass Pro solders.
I discovered years ago that there really IS a difference in quality between brands of solder. Always use the very best solder you can afford. The old adage, "You get what you pay for is so true..." I've tried lots of cheaper, generic solders thru the years in stained glass and it was like soldering with mud. The funny thing is...if I hadn't known any better, I would have thought it was me! So, don't blame yourself if your soldering isn't as good as you expected. It could simply be a matter of upgrading the quality of solder you're using. Your work most likely will instantly improve!
