If you buy a soft top for your Tracker, Sidekick, Jeep, etc, there are many sellers to choose from, and they all have impressive guarantees.

What they don't tell you is that while the mounting hardware, the canvas, the windows are all covered by the warranty, the zipper on your rear window is NOT.

If you use that rear window a lot, the zipper can break down quickly (mine lasted just 4 months), and after that you will have an open window or no window, depending on your failure.

I contacted my seller (Bestop) about the zipper problem and was told that zippers are not covered by their warranty, which is "standard" in the soft top industry.

So I did the only thing I could, managed to force the zipper all the way around, then sewed the window shut.
