There are so many sellers and stores to choose from on Ebay, its easy to make a wrong decision. So I decided to write this and try and help people by telling my experiences Ive had and which sellers I would not recommend to anyone. First of all, when you decide to leave the feedback for someone, make sure you have exausted any questions you might have, because once you leave it, your chance of getting a responce from them is slim to none. Sellers and store owners want your positive feedback, and once they get it, they are done with you and on to the next buyer.
I say that because I have done this, only to be left having a question for the seller, and trying several times to reach them and never getting a reply. Reasons such as , I didnt recieve instructions with my items, small parts missing, or questions about installation. Here are some recent sellers I have delt with that I think you should know about, and if you buy from them, use extreme caution and make sure you cross all T's and dot all the I's first. Keep in mind some of these sellers I didnt buy from because they had changed decriptions on me, prices, or major info was left out when they listed the item.
First off would have to be Racing_guys, after my purchase was recieved quickly, I left feedback, only to have found I had no instructions and then found I had the wrong size for my vehicle(billet grill). I tried for 2 weeks to reach them and still have not got a reply, watch out for them. Secondly, lonestarautoworld, i dont know about thier automobiles, but the parts and accessories have the most outrageous shipping you have ever imagined, but the buy-it now price is really low, very deseptive. Then if you click buy-now, an immediate payment is required, thats because they know the same item is all over ebay for half the price, shipping too. Third and forth, wholesale-industries and grille4you, they claim thier product is better than all the rest and call everyone elses junk. Only to find that their products are as cheap as they come, but with a high price tag. The same items will be different prices, then they will make up for it in the high shipping they charge. Do your research before you buy from them.
Another to watch out for: Djhatfsu10, I was bidding his Suzuki gsxr, and won. The next day he called over and over leaving messages telling me I had to call asap or he would sell to someone else (outside of ebay). When I called him 2 hours later I got his voicemail, so I left a message. The very next day the bike was relisted, only this time it was listed with a salvage title and damage that wasnt listed before. I seen this and emailed him. I get a reply saying "You didnt get back with me soon enough, so I put it back on ebay". I continued to email him about how the bike was listed differently from when I bid, and that he had me thinking the bike was "flawless", his words, and I told him that I would report to Ebay, and leave negative feedback. I never did any one of these things because he sounded so upset to know he would have neg. feeback and be reported.
The very most important thing to remember here is how important feedback is to sellers. I was fortunate to find things out before I had bought these items, I want to help others do the same. Never leave feedback until you are certain everything is 100% correct, and always ask more than enough questions before you place a bid. If the seller is hesitant to reply, be careful. Your feedback is powerful to stores and sellers, so use it to your advantage, and watch out for the names I listed above.
Good luck! Happy Bidding!!!
