Well maybe this might help you to decide the best player for your life stlye or situation?

1. Find a player that has -VCD, MP3, DVCD, CDRW, CDDA campatible disc types.
2. Find out more from seller when you are looking . Talk is cheap and communication is everything.
3. Size is the quest!  Finding the  shape, color  and/or  price to spend  should be 2nd on the list.
4. Is this the time to get a  MP3 CD player?   Only if know what MP3 can do for you.

For example :  A player that can do all of the above. Have 2 external pover supplies, Leads to TV, stereo earphones, remote control, a carry bag and the size of 2 CD cases ontop of each other.

Well thats what I call " the box and dice" of slimline walkmans.
