Okay, for about 3 years I have been buying on ebay with almost 100 % satisfaction.Well,I figured let me try my hand at this selling thing and I sure can use some extra bucks, right?Sure,I have bought items that were not worth what I paid but you live, you learn is my philosophy.Because for the most part,I have got great deals from very nice people.
About 3-4 weeks ago I started putting my nwt, nwot, euc and the like items up for sale and I am making mistakes,at my cost, mostly on undercharging for postage but that's okay.I sold an item a few weeks ago that is a popular brand, new with tags, never been used item for a reasonable price.A few buyers hadn't left feedback so I like an a**,left them feedback.Today,I get an email the merchandise smells "funky","where was it stored?","does it need cleaning or airing out?"I look at the feedback and sure enough I got me a bonified complainer!!A chronic complainer!!
I offered a refund as I sold other pieces that were in the same area of my home with no complaint,in fact praise.I search for an odor and of course there is none, and I guess the moral of my little tale is,I have new found respect for the powersellers who deal with this c*** and wonder if you have any advice for a small time newbie seller.
