for years Gaz made the 106 globetrotter propane stove, with a puncture canister. these canisters are now obsolete, but thats ok, as the 2 cups, and wire Handle, are big enough for the svea 123 to fit into, as well as the Marks Pak Cook, and the texsport 124. Both the Pak cook, and the Go cook have 1/2 pint fuel capactity, and work just as well as the svea. Which the Svea has only 1/3 pint capacity, whicn equates to 20 minutes more of cooking time per filling. the globetrotter also has a web strap to hold both pots, the svea with winscreen cup, and handles into a compact foolproof package, all you must do is donate the obsolete Gaz 106 to someone you really like, or to the trash. if you want a more fancy cookery, add the peak cookset, also found often on ebay, the Peak not the sportster cookset, about 5 1/4 square,
big enough for the globetrrotter to fit inside with the peak 1 handle. they go for on
ebay in the $10.00 plus shipping range, it comes with a 2 piece square pots, and handle
pot holder.
Cookset handle, now, you have room to pack, tea coffee, and bullion, and other esentials into
now a 5 piece solo cookset, although the svea cup, and the 2 gaz cups are sufficient for most weekend trips. one can use post Office length rubber bands to hold the peak outer 2 pots together in longer Trips
Many times i go with the svea globetrotter packed inside an 11 ounce coffee can, with my trusty grocery store bought 3 peice eating utincils, top ramen crushed into a ziplock bag.
coffee and tea in another, with room to spare for about 3 days of munch stuffs.
On lomg trecks i use the 2 peice peak one
cookset to hold the Stove inside the globetrotter, and the coffee can for food and eating utincles
have Fun
