Bullion  will be hallmarked.

ok what is hallmark  silver is climbing and everyone is in?

hallmark is Mint or Manufactor  stating weight and purity ie .999 1 ounce simple

When silver got in the 30 dollar range and was climbing the fast buck guys were out they would drill and fill a 10 oz or larger silver bars with a cheaper base metal.

so if silver was odd weight  or from  a unknown Smelter, bars were assayed at customers expense.

reputable bars have always had a better resale Engelhard, J/M Industries, Refco/Simmons, Silvertowne.

The reason I  chose to write this review was to make fellow ebays aware  of some of the small problems with bullion and buying from a reputable dealer and reputable silver.

I personally was involved in buying and selling silver in those peak times as Bunker Hunt and his Brother  got the silver ball rolling.

Next item so what about 1 oz rounds or ingots  a hallmarked round will say purity and weight ie .999 fine pure silver 1 troy ounce or .925 fine Sterling.

There are some silver rounds out there that are silver clad, We sell them and we tell our customers what they are they are .999 silver clad , THEY ARE NOT AN OUNCE OF SILVER , EACH ONE IS A BASE METAL clad, copper  with a millage of silver over coin, these silver pieces can say 100 mil silver  proof quality , they are not 1 ounce of silver.

I have collected coins and silver and gold  for over 45 years and have sold them  as well the experience and knowledge that I have learned is great.

The last reason for this review is I saw silver100 mil on auction described as 1 oz silver bullion and price that is selling for is at bullion price, not 100 mill the buyer will  not be able to sell these for silver.

they look beautiful proof frosted image ,but they are not silver ounces.
