Espadrilles, Platforms, and Wedges are hot, hot, hot for the fashionable ladies in the spring and summer of 2006 by Shoe Metro.

Ankle Wraps and straps remain in style from the previous year.  Woven straps are a hot commodity along with retro detailing in the design.  For the edgy shoe style, there are peep toe pumps that have picked up some buzz from celebs wearing them.

Metallics are still in style but are a little subdued. It's better off to go with Bronze and Silver colored shoes/sandals.  White & Natural colors are the hottest for the two warm seasons.

Since spring and summer bring out skimpy clothing you'll have to be prepared to show off the silky smooth legs with shoes that'll go well with your mini/short skirts.  A casual look could be pulled off by wearing flip-flop sandals.  You could really perk up the look with a sandal that has beading, sequins or metallic detailing.  Mini Skirts are all about legs so Wedges, Platforms, and Espadrilles are an excellent choice to make your legs look longer and sexier.  Knee-high boots in cool weather are an ideal match for skirts, this look makes you look exotic, so don't be shy try it out.
