Hi to all,
When you ship to Israel things to know (Also when waiting for items):
1)Selling a new item that costs above 50$ might cause buyer pay import tax. About 15%-17% of product value (April 2008).My advice is if it is possible to list your items in just 1$ or 2$ less than 50$, this might bring more buyers from Israel.
Check what buyers from Israel buy and if your items are wanted list it Just a bit cheaper.
2)Selling a drug (legal drug of course), will cause buyer to Pay Doctor check and release which might be very expensive. And doctor might decide not to release drugs). This payment is not part of income tax that might apply as well.
3)If you ship items with envelopes unregistered mail most times customer will not pay taxes.
4)If you ship items with envelopes registered mail most times customer will not pay taxes, but more chances to pay taxes than previous option.
5)If you ship a large package and the package value is more than 50$ income tax will apply.
6)If you ship a large package and the package value is less than 50$ than costumer must prove that items price is less than 50$, a receipt will be handy here.
7)I my self had to pay income tax on items I bought here on eBay.
8) Customers, you must know this rolls before you buy.
9) Israeli post will release items from custom for 35 NIS which are about 10 USD (April 2008) .(This payment does not include income tax, you should add it to income tax).

10.a) Almost all the countries I got Items from did OK. (Modern countries usually have good postal services)
11) I worked once at a post office (In Israel), they don't lose things (99.999% of the time), My father worked there for more than 40 years. They where reliable then and I believe they are now.
12) To buyers from Israel:
*know this rules.
**know that you can find here (on eBay) cheaper items, And I am talking about combined total, including shipping and taxes.
***Wait for the item don't rush to write bad feedback (It might heart you as well).
****Know shipping times and items unique ID for tracking it.(For registered Items)
13) To sellers shipping to Israel:
* Ship to world wide if you can it will increase your final bid amount (as far as I know).
** Ship to Israel it is a reliable modern state.
***Israeli Prices are much higher than the American market especially for computers&Electronics, Israeli's will buy these items from you.(Especially the smaller & expensive Items).
Thanks for reading my guide I hope It was helpful.
