You know, one of the most mentioned things in my feedback is the fashion in which a buyer receives their item. I mean afterall, there money is just as hard to come by as mine. It is a pet peeve of mine when someone packing your groceries for the checker at the supermarket, simply tosses the items into the bag without any thought as to how they are going to organize your purchases. If I buy clothing and the clerk is unlucky enough to have me watching her clumsily put my things in the bag.....well.........she is going to hear about it from me. I am NOT the silent type.
When someone purchases something from me, I think that the presentaion is EVERYTHING. It tells the buyer exactly what kinds of seller you are. If you are organized, neat, honest, appreciative, etc. A sloppy package says more than you think it does.
Every item gets 2 pieces of colored tissue paper with a gold seal that says,"Thanks for your business". The outside of the package is decorated with stickers and ink stamps. I know that girls love this by the responses I get. One gal said that she loves getting things from me because it feels like it is her birthday and she is getting a "present". Another customer told me that is saddened by the amount of items that are for sale on eBay that are photographed lying on the floor, across a bed, etc. Ask yourself. Would this attract me enough for me to have the CONFIDENCE in buying this item and sending a total stranger my hard earned money?? Chances are you will come up with a big fat, "NO".
Trust me on this. The way you ship an item is equivolent to meeting someone for the very first time. Your first impression is the one that comes into play at decision making time.
You can tell, just from looking a this photo that more likely than not, this seller cares about what he/she is going and chances are, you will have a successful experience.
Take the time to copy and paste an item into the listing if you don't have the right equiptment. The model in the suede dress came out of a catalogue that I was purchasing from.
Make sure that your photographs and your presentation when shipped, exceed the expectations of your buyer!!
