So, some of you think $2 is too low for shipping a DVD? Perhaps, but only slightly.. First of all, sellers need to remember they are competing with non Ebay sellers as well. when making a purchase, a buyer should compare the total cost including shipping charges. It makes no sense to buy an item that costs $8 including inflated shipping if it's available locally at the store for $6 does it? Sellers need to remember that handling fees are not madatory and are nothing more than a way to inflate profit. Many Ebay sellers avert Ebay fees by selling prices that are too low & recovering the funds by jacking up the shipping & handling fees. As a buyer, I shop for total low price and expect that the seller absorb overhead for such things as an envolope, etc, from the sales price of the item, the same way a store does. I personally refuse to purchase DVD's that have more than a $3.00 shipping charge.
