Lately I have been buying photo equipment on eBay. As we all know eBay is many diverse and different sellers with many very different ways of doing business.
I have been really getting perturbed by the many different ways  folks have been shipping my stuff.  Over the years eBay has kind of developed a Standard Operational Procedure that more and more folks are getting away from. The entire reason that PayPal has become the coin of the realm here on eBay was to facilitate faster shipping. In the beginning everybody paid by Postal Money Orders. Remember those days. Three days for the payment to arrive and a few day more to get your item. Paypal helped shave days off of the shipping times by cutting out those few days.
Well it seems that more and more folk who sell here on eBay have taken the approach they only ship on a certain day. Hey if I paid you via PayPal I EXPECT you to ship my item on the very next day at the latest. Don't sit on my package and hold my money until you feel like going to the Post Office. Anymore when I see that someone is arrogant enough to write in their ad copy " I only ship on Thursdays" , I just skip their auction all together. Priority Mail is also the coin of the realm. The only reason NOT to use Priority Mail would be for very large heavy packages.  For those UPS is the best .
That brings me to reason for my rant, PARCEL POST.  Parcel Post SUCKS!!!!!!. It is only a few pennies cheaper, but it is OH SO much worse. First of all the Post Office now holds trucks with parcel post until they are full. Your Package can sit for days before it ever hits the road. The goons who handle Parcel Post must play soccer with the packages in their spare time. By the time they get to my home they are pummeled. I got a package last week that was almost ROUND. It started off nice and square.
Yeah I know the postal rates went up, I'll pay the difference. What  I see happening lately is folks saying ," Opps, the rates went up" then charge an arm and a leg , only to turn around and ship the thing parcel post, and pocket the difference as a hidden profit. Not fair!!! Any more if your ad doesn't say  Priority Mail  or UPS , I'm not bidding period!
Don't charge me $45 for shipping, then throw my item in a used box with crumpled newsprint, and ship it Parcel Post. The next person that pulls that stunt I am going to sue!
I don't care if you leave the postage amount off the label. I have a scale and the internet. I think I can figure out when I have been scammed .

Oh and to that lady that said "Tracking was NOT required", read the TOS from PayPal. Too cheap to spend the few cents is not an excuse.
