Let me start out by saying that this is not my selling ID. Posting this guide with my selling ID would be dangerous to my business, as I am sure this guide will upset alot of shipping label sellers.
Okay, so I started my little ebay business selling accessories for cell phones, I needed shipping labels and various other shipping supplies. Like most people who sell on eBay, I also buy on eBay. So I bought some shipping labels for printing from PayPal. They were awesome. Half of the 8 1/2 by 11 sheet was adhesive and the other half was blank, perfect for printing out the label and the receipt. I have to admit, I loved them, they were perfect. I also paid quite a bit for them, when I could have gotten them for FREE!!!!!!
Now, since my eBay business was taking off, I went down to my local FedEx office to open an account. Low and behold I already had a FedEx account. Remember those labels I bought on eBay? The seller opened an account with FedEx in my name, and my address, then ordered FREE FedEx shipping supplies that were sent to MY address directly from FedEx. I guess I paid for the time it took them to open an account, and for my own stupidity of not knowing I could order these myself.
I am not implying that you should order their supplies for free and never use thier service.
What I am trying to get across is that if you order these labels from someone off ebay, be absolutely sure they will not open a FedEx account with YOUR information.
You will see these labels in listings with FedEx down the right side of the label.
