Shipping a untouched Pocher kit is easy. BEFORE YOU OPEN THE SEALS, MAKE SURE THE BUYER IS OK WITH IT. SOME BUYERS ONLY BUY SEALED KITS AS AN INVESTMENT, AND MAY NOT WANT THE SEALS TAMPERED WITH. Assuming the buyer is ok with it, open the kit and pack it with "shipping peanuts". There should be enough shipping peanuts that the box has to be held closed to apply the sealing tape. Don't just sprinkle some in and hope for the best! The box MUST be overfilled, or the peanuts will not lock all the parts in place, and do their job of absorbing shocks and jolts.
To ship a in-work kit, wrap each completed sub-assembly, such as the chassis, dash board, rear axle, etc, in bubble wrap, wrapping it in BOTH DIRECTIONS. Each assembly should be FULLY ENCLOSED in bubble wrap. Now take a box and put in a 2-3 inch layer of foam peanuts. Place the assemblies in the box, filling around them with peanuts, and making sure that they are not near the sides of the box. After all the assemlies are in the box, top it off with foam peanuts, to the point where you have to hold the box closed to tape it. You now have a nice, secure package that will arrive in perfect condition, and a grateful new owner will give you a good review for your effort!
IF YOU DON'T USE ENOUCH PEANUTS, THE ASSEMBLIES INSIDE WILL WORK THEIR WAY TO THE LOWEST PART OF THE BOX, AND ARRIVE WELL-SMASHED. I have had this happen to me and it's really annoying. $1.00 worth of peanuts will save $500 worth of damage.
