Everyone is talking about Shea and Cocoa Butter, but what exactly are these products, where do they come from, and how will you benefit from them?

About Shea Butter..
We get Shea Butter from the Shea nut. When this tree bears fruit, the pits are removed and then boiled. Afterwards, they dry in the sun for 3 - 5 days. The Shea nuts are then roasted to make sure that they are completely dehydrated.
It is from these seeds that we get Shea Butter. Shea Butter has been most popular in the healing of many skin care problems. Today, we find many products that are made with Shea Butter. Even dermatologists are recommending Shea Butter for skin ailments.
Shea Butter is so popular, that there is actually an American Shea Butter Institute. Shea Butter has been around for thousands of years. It is believed that the Queen of Sheiba used Shea Butter to keep her beauty as well as others in those times.

Shea Butter has a ton of vitamins that go to work once it is applied topically.
It is said that if you use Shea Butter daily, you will see an amazing difference in your face within 4 to 6 weeks!
Shea Butter has been known to:
Help bruises heal.
Aid in dry skin, Dermatitis, Eczema, Sunburn, and Athletes Feet.
Firm up skin that has aged and helps clear up wrinkles.
Helps weak hair from breaking and thinning out.
Helps strengthen nails and cuticles.
Has been known to help Arthritis and aching joints, and muscles and more!

Bath & and Body Works makes very good Body Butters that have Shea Butter in them. Their scents are fantastic as well. Some of the nicest scents have been their Moonlight Path Body Butter, Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Butter, Cucumber Melon and more. Thanks to eBay we can now still purchase them in spite of them being discontinued.

Aloe (Aloe Vera)

Aloe comes from the Aloe plant and is a yellowish liquid.  This liquid is achieved by breaking off a part of the leave from the plant. Aloe gel has been used in homes for hundreds of years to treat and sooth skin ailments such as sun burn, eczema, minor burns, minor scrapes, and more. It is used for soothing, because of it's anti inflammatory properties . Aloe's extract contains a number of vitamins and  minerals which is believed to promote healthy skin.

In 1994 the US Food and Drug Administration approved Aloe Vera for HIV

Bath & and Body Works made a good product called Body Butter 100% aloe vera unitanical from Pure Simplicity that is now retired.

Lychee
Lychees are found growing in Thailand and in China. There are many health benefits to Lychees and in this section we are going to discuss how beneficial this fruit can be not only to your skin, but to your health as well.

The Chinese believe that Lychees have been known to improve a person's blood.
The Chinese have used this fruit for many years in the healing process of helping to shrink swollen glands, shrink tumours, and Lychees are used as a pain medication.
There have been many studies on Lychees and they were found to prevent the growth of Cancer cells as well as Breast Cancer.
The Chinese use them to heal sore throats, fevers and colds.
They are also used to help the digestive process
Some make a tea from the Lychee sead and use it to stop smallpox and diarrhea.
