The Sharper Image Ionic Breeze Quadra Professional Series is a silent running air purifier. It will clean approximately a 500+ square feet area of your home removing dust, mold, pet dander, allergins and household smells. These units have a happy button. If you press the happy button until it turns blue the unit will do a super clean mode for five minutes, if green it will put more negative ions in the air, giving that rain clean smell. Uses 12 watts of power which is approximately two nite lights.

The Sharper Image Ionic Breeze GP Professional Series will clean a 500+ square feet room and provides a bacteriostatic ultra violet (GP) light to kill bacteria as the air passes through the light, while still removing dust, mold, pet dander, allergins and household smells. These units also have a happy button. Of course this product is more expensive and has a light the tells you when it needs cleaned. Uses 36 watts of power, less than a 40 watt light bulb.

With either unit, you can watch TV, talk, or sleep, wiithout this product driving you crazy due to the noise like with other hepa filter type air purifiers. You can feel it working though, by putting your hand over the front grill. I am amazed at the amount of air cleaning it does without that drone of an air filter. We burned some candles one night and we were totally amazed at the soot we removed from the bars the next day.  It was nice to know we weren't breathing that in. The instructions do warn you to clean immediately after burning candles to prevent damage to your unit. Also if you hear the sound of static, the unit must be cleaned immediately. It is so easy to clean, just remove the bars from the inside(it is all in one piece) and wipe with a paper towel and throw away. Invert the unit a few times to renergize the ionic bars, and replace the bar back in to the unit. It takes me less than 60 seconds. The bar piece can also be placed in the dishwasher and replaced after 24 hours of drying time, but I can't imagine when you would need to do this, unless you let it go way to long. The instructions recommend cleaning every two weeks. At first I had to clean the bars every other day, but now that all the dust is out of my house, I check them weekly when I clean the house. I have noticed barely any dust on anything anymore.

My daughter has asthma and she felt a difference after just a few days of running them on high 24/7. I am allergic to dust. My  frequent sneezing episodes, with constantly burning, itchy eyes are almost gone. Our family had a bout of strep throat that went all around the family in the house prior to getting the Ionic Breeze GP. Of course we were all on antibiotics, but I think it was the GP that finally stopped the circle. I loved them so much, I got a Sharper Image Car Ionic Breeze also, but I don't notice much of a difference because I only go short distances and don't smoke.

When shopping on ebay, I would recommend using a reliable seller with an excellent feedback rating of 100%. I had two no delivers from two different sellers, and one who stated new products but sent me a used unit. I also bought a used Sharper Image Ionic Breeze GP from a seller with 100% feedback and got a great used product that was like brand new except for a few blemishes on the outside. Search for "Sharper Image" for a broad amount of products or narrow it down to the exact product you want but put "Sharper Image" in front of it. Getting the right size product for the right amount of air space you want to clean is also important. I would buy a unit larger than the room. Don't expect a desktop to clean 500+ square feet.

There is also a desktop and desktop GP unit for smaller areas of 375 square feet, like an office or small room. The desktop GP would be great to cut down on office germs and I highly recommend them. There are also bathroom units that I bought on ebay, but have not yet received.  The car units would be great for smokers and nonsmokers alike. Hope this info helps if you are considering buying one. They are fantastic, amazing and worth every penny you spend! My house should be used in a Sharper Image Ionic Breeze commercial!
