The Lemax Spooky Town village is a Halloween themed collection that is made up of incredibly detailed pieces that are sure to become family heirlooms.  Creating your own Lemax Spooky Town Village can be a fun & inexpensive experience that will reward you & your family with hours of enjoyment.  The most important thing to remember when setting up your village is have fun with it and  be creative...the possibilities are endless.

To correctly set-up a Lemax village you must have all the necessary pieces to complete your village.
First thing you need to do is set-up a sturdy table that is spacious enough to hold your village.  Your village can be as large or small as you desire so be sure to plan ahead accordingly.  You want your village to be a main focal point in the room so be sure to set-up the village in a spot where everyone can enjoy the sights and sounds of your village.

Landscaping
After setting up a table for your village the first step is laying down the ground floor.  You can choose to lay down stone gravel, a brick road, decorative moss, display platforms or a combination of them all.

You will also need a backdrop, Lemax makes a wonderful sky backdrop that can be used in any of your villages and the backdrop even comes with display platforms.

No village is complete without trees, there are specific trees that are designed for your Spooky Town village and you can choose between lighted and unlit trees.  Don't feel as though you are restricted to just Spooky Town accessories in your village there are many Lemax trees that are very versatile and will work nicely in any village.  Be sure to check out the Autumn trees as they fit into the Spooky Town collection very nicely.

Figurines
Figurines are an essential part of every Lemax Village.  Every Spooky Town figurine has a Halloween theme and are usually specifically used in Spooky Town villages.  Again, there are no rules to setting up your village so feel free to mix and match.

Houses & Buildings
It is recommended that you include at least one building in your village from the Spooky Town Sights & Sounds Collection.  The Sights and Sounds buildings add sound and animation to your village, all the buildings have sound control so you can have the sounds low in the background, turn the sound up or turn the sound totally off if desired.

Table Accents
Table accents come in a variety of different styles some of the pieces are animated or lighted and then some are not.  Table accents are great pieces because they can be incorporated nicely into your village or the can be used alone as a decoration.

Accessories
Does your village need a bit more light?  Lemax makes a spotlight that you can use to shine some light on any part of your village.  You can also incorporate a mini strand of skull or pumpkin lanterns to your village for light.

If you have a lot of lighted buildings in your village and a lack of available plugs you might want to invest in a lighting system which allows you to plug in up to 6 building on one plug.
